The Token Gesture
The Token Gesture

This small and compact arrangement is a great way to say thanks to a host or hostess for having you over for dinner or drinks.  Instead of arriving with a large bouquet and have the host need to take the time to open and arrange them, this pretty use of pink roses, daisies, green poms, and purple statice, is in a white 4″ flower pot.  Just pull it out of the box,  and it is ready to go!

Pretty in Power Pinks
Pretty in Power Pinks

This sweet arrangement was created for an 8 year old “princess” on her Birthday using carnations, which were her favorite flowers. (thankfully I happened to have them in stock that day!)  Spray roses, blue eryngium, purple trachelium, hot pink dianthus and pittosporum fill the arrangement out.

Contemporary Bubble Vase
Contemporary Bubble Vase

This small but vivid arrangement, designed in a black ceramic off-set bubble vase, is perfect when  looking for a more contemporary arrangement.  Bright roses with tulips, orange ornathogolum, cymbidium orchids, a large yellow gerber daisy and fresh assorted greens make this arrangement pop in a small but effective manner.  We can also arrange for ‘inserts’ to be made, so you can pick up or have an arrangement designed for this special container without having to  bring this one in.

Celebration of Life
Celebration of Life

This piece was for a funeral where they decided to celebrate a life rather than mourn one lost.  The mass wall of bright flowers is from one of our most popular and most commented on series, the “Celebration of Life.”  We are often called to be told that the family has chosen to take only one arrangement home from the service, and it was ours.  They are always from this full, tight and vibrant series of arrangements. They are equally suited as a get-well arrangement where all the flowers are face forward to be enjoyed.

Corsage in the Tropics

This wrist corsage was made for a high-school prom where the young man asked for a tropical, but tight and compact (the way we like them!) that omitted all off the fluff and ribbons frequently associated with prom corsages.

New Baby Boy… and Girl!
New Baby Boy… and Girl!

This was another arrangement we made for the birth of twins.  One boy and one girl!  We decided to give each baby their own side of the arrangement; orange and yellows for him, and pinks and purples for her.  A division of greens splits the piece in half.  A great choice to send out to a co-worker who has made a new addition to their family.

Fresh Greens and Whites
Fresh Greens and Whites

This large but low,  tight and dense centrepiece would be great where ever you are looking for a pop of freshness, but prefer the softer tones of greens on whites over bright colours.  The soft white Polar Star and green Jade roses, mixed with mini green hydrangea, spider mums and white mums, make this arrangement a great choice at any time of the year

New baby … twins!!

What a great way to welcome a set of twins where one is a boy and one is a girl!  Each baby gets their own side of the arrangement.  One one side a mixture of oranges and yellows, and on the other pinks and purples.  Here, the two sides are separated by a row of green Limbo roses and arranged in a long low rectangular container that would look great in any bright windowsill, or even used to brighten up a darker corner of the home.

Thanksgiving table
Thanksgiving table

This large arrangement was the centre piece in a set of three used on an extra long table.  Busting at the seams with fall coloured flowers, the sunflowers, larger yellow gerber daisies, green spider mums, large “Cherry Brandy” roses with sprigs of vibrant red montbretia, and stiff acacia leaves helping to anchor the arrangement to the table, this is a beautiful way to celebrate the fall holidays without resorting to pumpkins and gourds.  This would also make a great centrepiece for a fall wedding or corporate event.
