Pothos Totem
Pothos Totem

This large but easy to grow plant is great for any location, but really does well in lower light.  The Pothos Totem is a great plant when you want to get a tall, full plant, but don’t want to have to worry about the difficulty associated with many larger plants.  As long as this plant does not spend much time in direct sunshine, and can be watered when it dries out, it is a very good option when you are looking for a bright column of variegated green.

What a great way to welcome a set of twins where one is a boy and one is a girl!  Each baby gets their own side of the arrangement.  One one side a mixture of oranges and yellows, and on the other pinks and purples.  Here, the two sides are separated by a row of green Limbo roses and arranged in a long low rectangular container that would look great in any bright windowsill, or even used to brighten up a darker corner of the home.

Celebration of Life
Celebration of Life

This piece was for a funeral where they decided to celebrate a life rather than mourn one lost.  The mass wall of bright flowers is from one of our most popular and most commented on series, the “Celebration of Life.”  We are often called to be told that the family has chosen to take only one arrangement home from the service, and it was ours.  They are always from this full, tight and vibrant series of arrangements. They are equally suited as a get-well arrangement where all the flowers are face forward to be enjoyed.

Rockgarden planter
Rockgarden planter

These great ‘rock’ planters are a fun way to make up a special arrangement.  In this case, we were sending it to a “mans man” that would not really appreciate flowers.  Instead, we chose a selection of long lasting cut greens with just a few all-green flowers to round it out.  Makes a great corporate gift to send to the men in an office, when you want to say “Thanks”, but not send them the same pretty flowers the women receive.

Contemporary Container

A large unconventional bowl vase with side cut-outs allowed us to create a lush and full arrangement that catches one off guard with the fresh florals emerging from the side of the pot.  This large arrangement would look great on the centre of a large reception counter, or even off to the side on the ground amongst a grouping of houseplants.  Some of India, acacia branches and leucadendrons create the main framework for a pink and purple lysianthus to add some brightness, while stems of sedum are utilized in the containers unique cut-outs.
